About Henry
My fascination with biology began when I first learned how living organisms grow, adapt, and respond to their environment. I was especially interested in understanding how cells function and how biological systems support life. This interest led me to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, where I studied genetics, physiology, and ecological science.
During my 6 years of teaching, I have guided students as they developed their understanding of biological science. My teaching philosophy focuses on making complex topics clear and engaging so learners can build knowledge step by step. I encourage students to ask questions and explore the connections between different biological ideas.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about discoveries in life sciences and environmental research. Staying connected with scientific developments allows me to bring interesting examples into my lessons. Teaching biology is fulfilling because I see students become more curious about living systems and develop confidence in understanding scientific ideas.

My biology lessons are designed to help students explore how living organisms function and interact with their environment. Biology becomes easier to understand when students see how scientific ideas explain real processes in nature. We begin with the fundamental topics of cell structure, biological organization, and the characteristics that define living organisms. I explain how cells perform essential functions and how they form tissues and organs in more complex organisms.
As students develop a stronger foundation, lessons move toward topics such as human body systems, genetics, and ecosystems. Learners study how organs work together to maintain life and how genetic information is passed from one generation to the next. We also explore how plants, animals, and microorganisms interact within ecosystems and depend on environmental balance.
My goal is to help students develop curiosity about life science and confidence in understanding biological concepts. Lessons encourage observation and clear explanation rather than memorization. Over time learners begin to see how different biological systems connect and influence each other. Biology becomes a subject that helps students appreciate the complexity and beauty of the natural world.
