About Nyra
My passion for biology began with curiosity about how complex life emerges from tiny cellular processes. I earned a B.Sc in Biological Sciences and later completed an M.Sc in Cellular and Molecular Biology, which gave me deep understanding of life’s structure and function. Over 9 years of teaching, I have supported students in building biology confidence through clarity and encouragement.
I believe biology should feel meaningful, approachable, and connected to real life. My teaching style focuses on explaining processes step by step, using diagrams, storytelling, and structured review. I encourage students to ask questions freely and develop confidence through understanding rather than memorization.
Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with biology through continual reading, interest in medical science, and exploring modern research developments. Teaching biology is rewarding because students often shift from confusion into fascination. Supporting learners as they grow into confident life-science thinkers is deeply fulfilling.

Biology becomes fascinating when students realize it is the story of life, structure, and connection within living systems. In my lessons, I guide learners through cell biology, genetics, human physiology, ecology, and evolution using clear explanation and engaging discussion. I focus on helping students see biology as a logical and interconnected subject rather than a topic of memorization. Each session builds understanding step by step.
Lessons are tailored to the learner’s level. Beginners explore basic cell structures, body systems, and foundational vocabulary with supportive guidance. Intermediate students strengthen skills in genetics problems, biological pathways, and exam-style diagrams through structured practice. Advanced learners focus on molecular biology, complex physiological systems, ecology interpretation, and high-level exam preparation with detailed feedback. Practice questions are always paired with explanation.
