About Scarlett
Biology tutor with 7 years of experience teaching students of all levels, from high school to college. Have successfully taught around 300 students, helping many prepare for board exams, medical entrance tests, and competitive exams. My teaching philosophy is simple: biology is about understanding life, not memorizing facts. My teaching approach for Biology and related subjects is built on visual learning, real-world connections, and conceptual clarity. I use diagrams, flowcharts, and animations to explain complex processes like cellular respiration, DNA replication, and nervous coordination. We break down each chapter into small, manageable sections and connect them to everyday life, like how digestion works or why we get sick. I encourage curiosity by asking you to relate biological concepts to current events, health, and environment. Motivation comes from weekly goals, solving past exam questions, and celebrating each topic mastered. I give honest feedback and always respect your learning pace. For Biology, we cover cell structure and function, biomolecules, enzymes, genetics, evolution, human physiology (circulatory, respiratory, digestive, excretory, nervous, endocrine systems), plant physiology, ecology, biodiversity, and environmental issues. We also work on diagram drawing, experimental design, and data interpretation. I also teach related subjects that support your biology understanding: Chemistry for Biology – biochemistry and metabolic pathways. Physics for Biology – biophysics and physiological measurements. Mathematics for Biology – statistics and population dynamics. In every lesson, I use case studies from health, medicine, and environment. For example, I show how one student mastered genetics using simple Punnett square practice, then we apply that to your current problems. I share stories of students who improved by drawing diagrams daily. My sessions are interactive and visual. We draw diagrams, label systems, discuss case studies, and solve exam questions. I assign homework like labeling 10 diagrams, writing short notes, or creating a summary chart. I adapt my pace to you, slower if needed, faster if you are ready. I never compare you to others, only to your previous self. I keep detailed notes so we always build on previous learning. My goal is to make you a confident, knowledgeable, and curious biologist.
