About Angelina
I am a recent Biomedical Science student from the University of Auckland, currently completing my Postgraduate Diploma in Biomedical Science.
Maths and Calculus was always my favourite subject in school and i always found it a lot easier then the rest of my peers. I believe this is because i had a good base understanding from a early age and learnt key basics which i see isn't really taught now adays.
I want to make this subject as easy to learn as possible and show how rewarding it is when it goes right, which is the beauty of maths as there is one right answer and the path to get there can seem daunting but really is a step by step process.

Depending on the needs of the student ( highschool NCEA level, primary school level, aid in maths homework etc), i like to access what they have learnt so far and see if they have the basics to what they are wanting to achieve.
So this includes for example if they are wanting to complete an assessment or homework assignment, they understand the background of the content.
Once they do that i work with what they are struggling with and aid in anyway, whether that is explaining or working through a problem with them. After i allow them to give it a go themselves to access if they have understood.
Lessons can range between 1-2 hours, or more depending on the needs of the student
My lessons are for students from 8 years up till 17 years for NCEA. This includes NCEA level 1 and 2 in maths and calculus students
I have been through the NCEA level 1,2,3 system and received excellence endorsement in Maths and Calculus. I tutored students while in high school as i had good understanding of concepts and how to answer and problem solve math equations, in a way that i wished i had been taught.
