My tutoring approach is interactive, hands-on, and tailored to each student’s needs. I use a mix of real-world journalism practices, critical thinking exercises, and structured feedback to help students develop their writing, reporting, and media analysis skills. I focus on:

Practical Application – Students work on real or simulated journalism assignments.

Analytical Thinking – I teach students to question sources, verify facts, and craft compelling narratives.
Personalized Feedback – I provide constructive critiques to refine writing, interviewing, and storytelling skills.
Multimedia Integration – Lessons can include digital journalism tools, social media strategies, and audience engagement techniques.

Typical Lesson Plan
Each session is structured but flexible to accommodate student needs. A typical lesson might include:

Brief Review – Discussion of past work, feedback, or key concepts.
Core Topic Discussion – Focus on a specific skill (e.g., lead writing, investigative reporting, ethical journalism).
Hands-On Practice – Writing exercises, mock interviews, or editing a real-world news article.
Review & Feedback – Analyzing strengths and areas for improvement.
Q&A & Next Steps – Assignments or key takeaways for independent practice.

What Sets Me Apart
Professional Experience – As a journalist, I bring real-world insights that go beyond textbooks.
Tailored Instruction – I adjust lessons to fit the student’s goals, whether academic, professional, or creative.
Focus on Critical Thinking – I help students develop a reporter’s mindset—fact-checking, ethical reporting, and clear, impactful storytelling.
