About MacKenzie
I've always known I wanted to be an Elementary School Teacher. Recently I have been working as a program facilitator for a tutoring program for the past year. I have also been supply teaching for 1 year. Working as a substitute teacher for the past year has provided the opportunity to learn skills to become a more resourceful educator. I have had the pleasure of working with students of different ages and levels of training to deploy various management techniques based on the level and degree of the students in each classroom. This experience has delivered first-hand knowledge of the current curriculum and has prepared me as a flexible educator to interact with students of diverse levels of academics. My goal is to help children become more confident in their learning and help them improve their abilities.

I would like to teach primary students in diverse ways that makes learning fun. I will first review classroom topics and assignments, discuss strengths and weaknesses then assist students with homework, projects, test preparation, as well as working with students to help them understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom. Depending on the subject of work I will provide a lesson plan for the child that will help them master skills that they never felt confident doing before.
