I have a BSc with distinctions in Human Anatomy and Physiology and Genetics and a BSc (Med) Honours in Biokinetics from the University of Cape Town. I am passionate about science and how it helps us better understand our own bodies and the fascinating natural world we live in.

I am a very patient tutor who understands that everyone learns differently and will adapt my teaching style to suit the way you learn best.
I am truly passionate about this subject and I hope that I can share that passion with you as it is always easier to learn something you are truly interested in.
I focus on helping you to truly understand and visualise biological processes with the aid of pictures and animations. This makes them much easier to remember and explain than if you just memorise the steps. I also means you can apply your knowledge of these processes to answer questions that don't have a textbook answer. I also use a lot of practice question. The more you practice answering them, the more confidence you will have in your ability to answer them well in a test or exam situation. Lastly biology does have a lot of terms that you have to remember so revision is key. While we may have a primary focus for a particular lesson, we will usually start with a quick revision session.
If you have particular test or exam coming up then we can focus on and revise that topic specifically.
I tutor all levels up to grade 12.
