About Toros
Hi! I'm Toros, a Neuroscience and Public Health student at UC Berkeley with hands-on neuroscience research experience at UCLA. I love helping students understand biology by focusing on concepts rather than memorization. Whether you're learning cell biology, genetics, physiology, ecology, or preparing for an exam, I tailor each lesson to your learning style and goals. I believe every student can succeed with the right support, and I strive to make biology engaging, approachable, and confidence-building. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop a genuine understanding of how living systems work.

Biology is much more than memorizing vocabulary: it is about understanding how living systems work and how different concepts connect. My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether they are preparing for a test, building a stronger foundation in biology, or studying for AP Biology. I begin by identifying topics the student finds challenging, then explain concepts using clear examples, diagrams, and practice questions. Throughout each lesson, I encourage students to ask questions and think critically rather than simply memorize facts. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their grades, and develop study strategies they can use long after our sessions are over.
