About Ria
Hi! I'm here to make Science easier to understand and more interesting to learn.
I'm a B.Sc. Zoology student and a passionate Science & Biology tutor with experience teaching and guiding students up to Grade 12.
I've also helped students with Science Olympiad preparation, focusing on conceptual understanding, reasoning and question-solving skills. Some of the students I've guided have gone on to achieve Olympiad Gold Medals.
I believe a good teacher doesn't simply explain a chapter and move on. The important part is making sure the student actually understands it and can use that knowledge independently.
My classes are therefore based on:
Simple, clear explanations
Concept-based learning
Diagrams and visual explanations
Real-life examples
NCERT/school syllabus support
Question and MCQ practice
Olympiad-style questions
Regular revision and doubt solving
I'm comfortable teaching in both English and Hindi, so I can explain a difficult concept in whichever way makes it easier for the student to understand.
I also try to create a relaxed environment where students can ask questions freely—even if the question seems very basic. In my experience, sometimes one small unanswered doubt can make an entire chapter feel difficult.
Whether your child needs help catching up with Science, wants to improve school grades, or wants to challenge themselves through Olympiad-level questions, I'll adapt the lessons according to their current level and goals.
My goal is simple: understand the concept → practice it → gain confidence → become independent.
