About Cat
I'm a Cambridge Graduate who's currently studying at QMUL and UCL. I've been tutoring for 3 years, and I'm lucky enough to have worked with students from all sorts of backgrounds.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy film, hiking, video games, singing and theatre.

A typical lesson with me will last for an hour or so. I beleive that no two students are the same, and that everyone has a preferred way of learning that can't always be harnessed in the crowded environment of the classroom.
During an introductory lesson, I'll ask about the student's goals; be they covering the entire syllabus, or looking at more specific topics. We'll then put together a roadmap to achive those goals before diving in to the topic.
During my time tutoring, I've learned that the most effective form of learning is through dialogue. Instead of one sided lectures, it's my goal to equip the student with the intellectual tools they need to develop their own opinions on the subject matter. Over my 3 years of tutoring experience, I've found this method is more engaging for students and produces much higher attainment than the alternative.
