About Alex
Hi! I'm Alex and I'm currently in my third year studying Physics at the University of Cambridge. I have experience tutoring students in a wide range of subjects, but specialise in Physics, Maths and Chemistry, as well as university admissions tests such as the Thinking Skills Assessment and the PAT.

My teaching method is to focus on true understanding of concepts rather than rote memorisation, so will introduce new topics and guide students through a few examples, getting them to talk through each step and eventually to explain the concept to me themselves. The pace of each lesson is tailored to the student's needs, so that they enjoy learning!

Perfect! I asked Alex to help me in my preparation for the NSAA (the admission test for Cambridge University, in Natural Sciences). Although I don't have the test results yet, I feel confident in saying that she was of great help, always very helpful in anything I asked her. There was no question she could not answer perfectly. I definitely recommend her.
