About Mell
I work as a freelance reporter, journalist and audio editor as well as teaching casually at universities. I have found over the years that my real passion is teaching.
I think a lot about the future of journalism and what needs to change and I love having the change to pass new ideas on to students, and learn from them as well!
I speak English and basic Spanish, but I also have experience teaching people who speak English as a second language. Most of my current students at UOM are Chinese.

I am passionate about media and journalism so I always try to make my lessons practical and fun!
I can teach between 30 minutes and 2 hours depending on preference. I usually teach first to third year university students but have also taught post-graduate masters students. I am also open teaching other age ranges and experience levels.
