About Katie
I became a Yoga instructor two years ago, after Yoga took my heart and influenced my lifestyle in the most amazing way. I can happily say I have been partaking in it for the last 8 years, focusing on Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin. The philosophy itself plays a big role but I appreciate the change in body, flexibility, general health and my mental state.

My classes are based in thirds - with constant reminders of skills, advice, recommendations, modifications and adjustments. We begin by a warm-up with a description of how the class is going to go, main focus areas, muscle groups, breathing techniques, mindsets, sensitive parts of the body, the poses itself, personal worries, targeted areas and type of class we will be handling. Following the sequence given - beginning with sun salutations, going though it slowly and ending it with a cool down and Shavasana.
