Carissa is an Amazing tutor! My son is an 8TH GRADER and was struggling with a C and dropping in math because he just wasn't understanding the material and is now at a B+. Carissa takes the time to talk to her students and understand how they learn. She teaches in lehmans terms and reviews the sibject matter until it is understood. She is a Math Wiz and my son looks forward to math now.. He is actually a grade ahead. Carissa was a blessing! I love to see my son enjoy going to class and doing his homework.. Carissa loves helping kids love math!

Carissa does a great job with our daughter who is currently in AP Calc, and we previously hired her to assist with Algebra II. Carissa is patient, ensures understanding, and keeps moving through the material (not spending time on skills that are understood). We have asked Carissa to tutor both in person and over Zoom at different times, and she has been flexible which is appreciated. She is professional and comes prepared. We would certainly hire her again.

Carissa is a trustworthy teacher because she is kind and considerate, as well as being knowledgeable and passionate about learning. She excels at helping kids feel comfortable with learning and is good at teaching. I think that she would be a wonderful addition to the Superprof community.
