About Clarie
I am an engineering student that has given private lessons since 2014 and regular online tutoring for the past six months. I usually taught one-on-one, but I have taught up to 10-11 students at once at my internship at NASA. While I typically focus on math and science, my experience in teaching includes music (piano, guitar, clarinet, vocals), reading comprehension, mathematics, and chemistry.

I typically give lessons to K-12 students as well as college underclassmen. I am a very theory-heavy instructor since it is my belief (and through my experience) that a strong understanding of theory helps the student attack mathematical problems more easily. I will ask the student what topics he or she struggles with, and move on from there. If I am to give lessons without set curricula from the student's primary teachers, then I will start with what I think is most necessary to understand that takes the longest to grasp. That way, when the student encounters the topic in school, they are able to ask their teachers the right questions to further clarify their thoughts.
