About Anneke
I was fortunate enough to work in a fantastic school environment that allowed me to pursue teaching multiple scientific subjects which ultimately helped me grow myself as a professional. I spent nearly 10 years creative a positive, colorful, and fun atmosphere around the subject of chemistry at this school. The only reason I left was because I started a family and wanted to be closer to my immediate family as well as my husbands immediate family. I am patient, understanding, and best of all I will find a way to vibe with you. That is my talent as a teacher.I strive to make each student feel comfortable and welcome in my learning environment. Whatever your struggles may be, I will work with you to reach your full potential and find a way to feel good about something you once struggled with.

First I like to get to know you briefly and have the student tell me in their words why they think they need a tutor. Then I would spend a little time diagnosing what I think are the sources of struggle. Next we would create a plan together as well as how we are going to execute that plan. I would implement what tools I think will be effective and ultimately leave you with the tools needed to continue successful progress on your own until our next session. My goal is to leave you feeling accomplished and confident in your abilities and resources. If more specific preparation or detail is needed such as difficulty with a particular subject or preparation for an exam or perhaps a project execution, then I am dedicated, willing, and creative enough to meet those needs.
