About Niyati
My lessons focus on the practical side of analytical chemistry, especially laboratory techniques that matter most in real-world settings. I use a relaxed, application-driven approach to help students grasp complex methods with ease. Together, we dive into instrumental analysis, including key spectroscopy techniques like NMR, IR, and UV-Vis. We also cover chromatography methods and essential quantitative analysis skills. Each topic is tied to how these techniques are used in actual labs and industries, making the learning relevant and engaging. The goal is to build a strong understanding of how chemical analysis works in practice. Whether it’s interpreting spectra or mastering separation methods, students gain clear, hands-on insights. This approach supports learners like chemical engineers and DIY formulators in excelling at their projects and careers. Lessons focus on making sophisticated lab techniques understandable and applicable. Practical examples and real-life case studies help connect theory to everyday lab work. By the end of each session, students feel confident in handling analytical tools and solving problems in chemistry. Together, we bring the lab experience to life, making chemistry both accessible and useful. This is the path to mastering analytical chemistry with real impact.

I’m a passionate Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a MSc in Inorganic Chemistry. My fascination lies in the chemistry of food preservation and food analysis. I love exploring the chemical changes that occur during food spoilage and the role of antioxidants and emulsifiers in keeping food fresh. From canning and drying to fermentation, I delve into the science behind various preservation methods.
My goal is to help students understand how these processes impact food safety and quality through a chemical lens. I believe chemistry is the key to unlocking why some foods last longer and remain safe to eat. Together, we explore concepts like reaction mechanisms, molecular interactions, and how preservatives work.
I enjoy making complex topics relatable and practical. Food is something we all interact with daily, and understanding its chemistry can be truly empowering. Whether you’re curious about what happens inside a jar of pickles or want to grasp the science behind antioxidants, I’m here to guide you.
