I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MSc in Inorganic Chemistry, and I’m deeply passionate about the chemistry of food preservation and food analysis. I love exploring how chemical changes occur during food spoilage and how substances like antioxidants and emulsifiers help maintain freshness and stability. Food is a beautiful blend of biology, chemistry, and culture, and understanding its transformations is endlessly fascinating to me.
I often dive into the science behind canning, drying, and fermentation—methods that combine tradition with powerful chemical principles. These topics allow me to show students how chemistry connects to everyday life in practical and meaningful ways. In my lessons, I guide learners through the chemical foundations of food safety and quality, helping them understand how reactions influence taste, texture, nutrition, and shelf life.
