I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MSc in Inorganic Chemistry. One of my greatest passions is food preservation chemistry and food analysis. I find it fascinating to explore the chemical changes that occur during food spoilage and how antioxidants and emulsifiers play a vital role in slowing down these processes. I love diving into the science behind preservation methods such as canning, drying, and fermentation.
In my lessons, I help students understand how these chemical principles ensure food safety and maintain quality. We discuss how different preservation techniques affect food on a molecular level, making complex ideas easy to grasp. I believe that understanding the chemistry behind food can deepen your appreciation for what we eat every day.
