About Shirley

I am a fun teacher/artist while determined to achieve goals. I was a full-time teacher in Spain until I had my first child. Now, I’m focused on my children first while tutoring pupils on the side. I have taught people with time to learn in a softer environment and with a test coming up and less time to play.

About the lesson

I’m a Georgia Tech honours student graduate in civil and environmental engineering with part of my master's in construction management, civil engineering. I was an engineer for 3 yrs and left the field and plan to focus on art and teaching. I have been a teacher in English as a second language, Spanish, mathematics and physics at all levels for over 15 yrs as my family owns LSE school in Spain and I’m very familiar with children and adults' learning paths. I am a mum and tutor atm and I get good results from my pupils. I love teaching and I make my classes fun. When tests are a priority then I focus the classes on the target.

I highly recommend Shirley as a trustworthy tutor. I have know Shirley for almost 10 years and been a student at her School for the last 2 years. She is a driven, organized teacher who develops inspiring & enjoyable relationships with her students.

Shirley has a wonderful rapport with students of all ages, and especially children. Her ability to connect with her students and her talent at teaching simple concepts, as well as more advanced topics, are truly superior. She also has excellent written and verbal communication skills with both parents and teachers.

Shirley accomplishes her tasks with wonderful energy and a positive attitude, that her students love. I highly recommend Shirley!
