About Olivia
I was someone in high school who could have used a tutor. Only during my undergraduate degree did I seek out tutoring, and it greatly aided my understanding of the material and helping with improving grades. My master's degree is where I believe I truly found passion for academia, since my curiosity was greatly encouraged. My thesis was finding flaws in the standard of care for geriatrics suffering from memory troubles and providing solutions that could help prevent Alzheimer's disease. Working in clinical research only allows my curiosity to grow with every new study and every new medication that comes across my desk. I hope to share this passion for learning with my students.

My teaching method consists of real-world examples and theoretical experiments. My lesson plan would consist of content review first, then a mini quiz on what was taught the lesson prior. I truly have a passion for science and love staying up to date with any new studies or medicine. I have previous experience in neuropsych studies and infectious diseases. My lessons would be engaging for the young scientists (middle schoolers) and challenging those preparing for their futures in science (freshmen-juniors). I am also comfortable with writing and literature classes, as I have a passion for literary analyses.
