About Niharika
Hi! I'm an M.Sc. Cognitive Science student at the CBCS, University of Allahabad, with an undergraduate background in Bioscience.
My academic interests lie at the intersection of biology, cognition and learning, which is one of the reasons I enjoy teaching. As a student myself, I understand how frustrating it can be when a topic is taught in a way that encourages memorization without helping you understand what is actually happening.
I want to tutor because I enjoy helping students move from “I don't understand this” to “Oh, that actually makes sense.” My goal is not simply to help students get through their syllabus, but to help them develop a stronger understanding and greater confidence in their ability to learn.

I offer online Biology tutoring for students in Classes 9–12, with additional support in Science and Mathematics for Classes 9–10.
My method focuses on ingraining conceptual clarity in the student before rote memorization, however I do not neglect the latter. I use the scientifically proven techniques of active recall and spaced repetition to prepare students for their exams. I am quite approachable, there's no such thing as a "stupid question" in my class.
