About Delphy
As a neurodivergent ex-student, there is nothing I resent more than the wasted potential of somebody who goes through an educational system that isn’t made for them. I aim to get to know the cognitive thinking process of the student, and put measures in place that may help. These may include starting a subject that resonates with the student, incorporating games and workshops, having a fixed/flexible learning curriculum, etc. My main motivation for tutoring is to erode the fear of unfamiliar information, as I believe communication makes the world go round.

I am a confident teacher in key stage 3, 4 and 5 of English literature and language. I would structure lessons based on the subject’s sub-nodes, such as essay writing, key vocabulary, creative writing, exam preparation, analysing texts, academic reading, and so on. I would also get students to interact with what each topic provokes for them; whether that be disagreeing with the subject matter itself or exploring the queries that may surface upon investigation.
