About Eleanor
As already mentioned above, I have been teaching for 30 years and I have taught thousands of students in this time. I pay particular attention to grammar and pronunciation. I like to have a friendly relationship with everyone and make the lessons as interesting as possible and my students generally like the lessons, make good progress and learn fast.

I went to university in Italy where I lived for many years and speak fluent Italian. I have also taught Italian to American university students doing a year abroad in Italy. I have been teaching English as a foreign language to people of all ages and walks of life since the 1980s. I have taught medical and commercial English mainly at secondary schools and adult education. I start with the basic grammar and try to make the lessons more interesting by reading books (chosen by the students and/or schools) and articles in magazines and then asking questions or discussing them with my students.
