About Addison
My interest in programming began when I first learned how computer software is created through coding languages. I was fascinated by the idea that simple instructions written in code could control complex digital systems. This curiosity motivated me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and later complete a Master’s in Computer Science to deepen my understanding of programming and software development.
During the past 8 years, I have taught programming to students who are learning coding for academic study, career preparation, or personal interest. Through this experience I learned that beginners often feel confused because programming combines technical syntax with logical problem solving. Because of this, I focus on teaching the reasoning behind each step of the coding process.
My teaching style encourages experimentation, careful debugging, and consistent practice. I guide students through coding exercises that gradually increase in complexity so they can develop strong programming foundations and confidence in writing their own programs.

My programming lessons are designed to help students understand how coding works and how computer programs are built to solve different tasks. Instead of focusing only on memorizing programming syntax, I guide learners to understand the logical thinking that supports software development. Students learn how algorithms are designed, how instructions are processed by computers, and how structured programs are written.
Lessons are organized according to the learner’s current level of experience. Beginners start by learning the fundamentals of programming such as variables, data types, loops, and conditional statements. Intermediate learners practice writing structured programs using functions, arrays, and basic data structures. Advanced students explore algorithm design, debugging techniques, and project-based programming tasks that help them develop stronger coding abilities.
Programming becomes very exciting when learners realize that they can create useful tools, applications, and systems using code. My goal is to help students build strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills so they can approach programming challenges confidently.
