About Jamie
I am a con-current education student at Brock University. Currently, I am in my third year of Con-current education. I need to maintain a 70 % average to stay in my program. I have done three service learning placements in elementary schools. I will graduating with a BA and BED. I have also developed multiple curriculum's for the Mohawk College Summer Camp, creating games, activities and graphs to do with the kids and gathering all the supplies needed.

My methodology when it comes to teaching is to always be patient with my students. To allow them to make mistakes and learn from those mistakes. Encourage them to try their best and to not give up, even when the task at hand seems challenging. It is really important to build a relationship with the students, find out what interests them and find ways to incorporate that into the lessons. As well, using different resources and tools for each student is important because each learner is unique and the lesson plan need to fit the needs of that specific student.
