About Diti
Hi everyone! My name is Diti Shah. I recently finished my first year of college and I am starting my second year soon. I am a pre-dental major currently, hoping to be an oral surgeon in the future. Growing up, math was one of my strongest subjects and it still is. I was always enrolled in the highest math level offered at my school and even moved on to dual enrollment in high school for certain math courses. I was able to achieve almost a perfect score on my SAT math section. To be able to do that, I had countless tutors, teaching me the best methods to tackle the multiple types of questions given on the standardized test. This helped me create my own method for different types of problems that have helped me ace almost every math class I have taken. My love for math is undeniable, and I want everyone to love it as much as I do. I promise you that I am highly organized, responsible, and friendly. My main goal is to see you succeed!

I believe that students should be able to start any math problem they see, which is why I have perfected a technique that not only teaches students how a math process works but allows them to keep remembering it. We frequently focus solely on our grades, which is important, but we frequently overlook the learning aspect of it. The steps of math are building blocks, which means that once we learn a process, that process will be required to solve another process. My method allows students to keep learning and practicing their knowledge so they do not forget it. In a typical lesson, I will go over a small lecture to introduce the topic and then include many practice problems to let the student get a feel for the multiple problems they will encounter within that topic. I want them to learn for themselves, not for their grades. The classes I am willing to teach are for anyone struggling with pre-calculus or below.

I have been struggling in math for a while now. I was hesitant in Diti’s skills at the beginning because her methods were so much more different than my other tutors.
