About Yiren
I have experienced difficulties in school regarding understanding and even a language barrier in the past, and I did struggle due to a lack of appropriate support. I am now fortunately at a point in my life where I understand what works for me and other students when it comes to education and learning, and I am in a position to offer this support to others who are seeking it. Every student is unique and capable of achieving their personal best - I believe this from the bottom of my heart and I want to help every student out there to believe this of themselves too. There is no such thing as aiming too high!

I am currently a fourth year medical student at UCL and I have been a tutor for 6 years, with 4 years experience as a private tutor. I believe learning is a beautiful experience, and while it is often challenging, every student will enjoy it and master it with the right support and guidance. I like to utilise a combination of both content learning and practice questions to teach and test understanding within a student, which in my experience I have found to be the effective with students of any ages. My lessons tend to be 1-2 hours long, however this is entirely dependent on the current level of the student and the difficulty of the topic.
