About Madelyn
Since my goal is to become a teacher, I have always surrounded myself with kids and worked with all ages. I previously worked at a daycare where I helped to teach students to read and write. I have also nannied and helped with all sorts of high school and middle school homework. I was never the student that was amazing at everything the first try, I had to study and put in all my effort to get good grades and I want to help others who might be in that situation. I want every student I work with to know that you are not supposed to know everything, but with the right mindset you can learn anything.

As a student myself, I am very understanding to each individual's needs. I don't have a set way to do things, instead I would prefer to talk to the student figure out the ways they learn best and what they are struggling. Each lesson I have with different students will be vastly different. I would prefer to get the information to the student in ways that interest them and help them. For one student this could be simply stating the facts and making my own lecture format. For another, this could mean an informational game or just a conversation. Everyone is different and therefore everyone has different needs and my goal is to help each student in the best way possible.
