I began doing lessons face to face to learn more about southern Vietnamese. We now do lessons online. She is very patient, always punctual, and prepared for class. I recommend!!

Phan Bao Tran is an excellent tutor that brings a contagious enthusiasm for Vietnamese culture and an encouraging attitude to our Vietnamese lessons. She puts a lot of thought into each lesson so that one lesson flows naturally to the next and alongside the numerous extremely helpful resources that she provides, learning Vietnamese has been a cinch. Not only have I learnt a lot on how to speak Vietnamese, I've also learnt quite a bit about the culture there as Phan Bao weaves in many interesting tidbits about Vietnam and even sharing pictures of certain landmarks in Vietnam outside of lessons.

I highly recommend Phan Bao to anyone looking to polish up on their Viet skills or wanting to learn it for the first time. Either way, I believe you will be satisfied!

Miss Harmon structures her Vietnamese lessons in a very logical way, building vocabulary and grammar step by step. After around 10 sessions, I can hold basic conversations and understand common everyday expressions. She also offered much cultural context along with well-prepared learning materials. Affordable and highly effective 10/10.

I have worked in Vietnam for five years, and during that time I developed a strong interest in the language and culture. As someone who enjoys traveling around the country and connecting more deeply with local people, I decided to learn Vietnamese to make my travel experiences more meaningful and independent.
I've been learning Vietnamese with Ms. Harmon, and I'm genuinely impressed by her teaching. Her lessons are well-structured, clear, and easy to follow, and the materials are detailed and highly practical, especially for real-life communication and travel situations. She doesn't just teach vocabulary or phrases, but explains how the language actually works in daily use.
What I value most is her patience and her ability to adapt lessons to my personal goals. She always makes sure I truly understand, rather than simply memorize. Thanks to her guidance, I feel much more confident using Vietnamese when traveling in Vietnam.
I would highly recommend Ms. Harmon to anyone who wants to learn Vietnamese seriously, whether for travel, work, or long-term living in Vietnam.

I am delighted to recommend Phan Bao Tran to fellow members of the Superprof community. I have known Bảo Trân for the past six months, during which she served as the private English tutor for my 10-year-old daughter, Mia. Bảo Trân’s teaching style is incredibly engaging and adaptive, focusing heavily on conversational fluency and building a strong foundation in grammar through contextual use. She is patient yet firm, establishing a respectful and fun learning environment.
A truly defining experience was when Mia had to prepare for a major school presentation entirely in English. Bảo Trân spent several sessions coaching her not just on vocabulary and script, but also on pronunciation and public speaking confidence. Thanks to Bảo Trân’s personalized method, Mia delivered her presentation flawlessly and actually received an award for clarity. I recommend Bảo Trân highly because she is not just an excellent teacher; she is a mentor who genuinely elevates the student's passion for the subject. Her dedication to seeing students succeed is unparalleled.

Ms. Harmon’s SAT Math lessons were incredibly effective. She explained every concept so clearly that even the hardest questions started to make sense. Thanks to her teaching methods and practice strategies, my math score improved a lot — way more than I expected. I got 780/800 score in SAT Math after being tutored by her in like 3 months and finally got accepted into the University of Iowa. She really knows how to break hard problems into small pieces of cake help students reach their full potential. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

As her sister, I can attest that Phan Bao Tran can convey information in a clear and engaging manner. Her flexible teaching style and attention to individual students will create a positive and effective learning environment.

I enthusiastically recommend Phan Bao Tran as an exceptional Math tutor. Ms. Tran's teaching style is characterized by her expert ability to simplify complex equations and her tireless commitment to building student confidence. When I struggled with difficult topics, she didn't just give me the answer; she patiently guided me through a structured process, ensuring I understood the underlying logic rather than just memorizing a formula. This approach was crucial for filling my knowledge gaps and transforming my anxiety into self-assurance. She fosters a learning environment where mistakes are viewed as necessary steps toward mastery. If you want a tutor who will not only dramatically improve your grades but also empower you to believe you can succeed in Math, Ms. Tran is the perfect choice.️️️️️

I have been exposed to Bao Tran, and she is one of the most intelligent girls I have ever met. Apart from that, she is also responsible, devoted, and humorous.
