About Laila
I am currentlys studying maths at A Level, and I want to pursue it at university too. Maths is the one subject that I found has opened the most amount of doors for me and most jobs require a minimum of maths GCSE. My part time job currently is a maths tutor at Fine Tutors, which isn’t one to one, it’s a group of 6 students. The thing I have found with tutoring is, when kids start out, their confidence is VERY low, and leads them to messing around, whether it’s in school or tuition, but by the end of their academic year, I have found that the students who I have taught, have seriously pulled their socks up and each week, they try harder and harder and you can see them improve. That is my favourite part about the job, being able to see young people bloom.

I am an experienced tutor in maths and have been a maths tutor for a year now, and it is also currently my part time job. I help kids of ages 3-16. I am currently studying maths at A Level and want to continue it further because I enjoy it so much!!! I understand what it’s like for students to struggle with not only the subject, but having to juggle multiple subjects and school stress, as well as revision techniques and how to use them. School can be stressful, and I would love to help your child explore their potential.
