About Milly
Hi there! I'm Milly, a London-based teacher. My teaching experience includes classroom teaching, 1:1 SEN tutoring and home-based tutoring encompassing a variety of ages and subjects.
I am currently working to complete my full PGCE +QTS Secondary teaching qualification specialising in Geography with the University of Exeter. Previously, I spent a year teaching KS3 SEN students on a 1:1 SEN level, encompassing English (phonics, literacy, reading, writing), Maths, Science and Humanities (Geography, Religious Education, History).
My wider background combines a combination of professional political/third-sector work as well as over 6 years of childcare work including Nannying and home-based tutoring. I hold a first class degree from the University of Glasgow studying Politics and Sociology. Beyond academia, I am also an experienced Pianist (Grade 7) and Trumpet player (Grade 8), so would happily support in music practice and theory tuition as well.

About the lesson

My main tutoring focus is on KS2 and 3 English and Humanities (Geography, RS, History), though I am also confident teaching KS2 Maths.
Lessons would last 60 minutes (though I can be flexible) and held online or in-person. This includes teaching content specific to areas you need to focus on, going through examples together, marking work, and exam preparation.
I am available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings (from 6pm).
