I am originally from London but moved over to Northern Ireland to study a BSc in Mathematics at Queens University, Belfast. I am currently studying a Masters Degree in Data Analytics, also at Queens University. I have previous experience helping other students at the University to learn and understand Mathematics more clearly. I see myself as a friendly and approachable person and am very enthusiastic about teaching Mathematics.
Although I do not have a great deal of teaching experience at the moment, I believe the fact I have recently studied the areas you may need help in means it is very fresh in my mind and I can be of great help. I believe I am very clear when getting my point across in order to try and pass my knowledge on. I am also a very patient person and am more than willing to help people of all different mathematical abilities, whether you are aiming for a C at GCSE or an A* at A level! I am extremely enthusiastic about Mathematics and love teaching it!

May-September 2017: Serpentine Developments
Another summer job doing a mixture of many different jobs including painting and gardening. Enjoyable and helped in gain valuable insight into day to day running of a small business.
June-September 2015: Ashley Homes Ltd.
Enjoyed it the year before and got offered to go back next summer. Same tasks.
June-September 2014: Ashley Homes Ltd.
Summer work involving working in the construction of housing developments. As I was new to this type of work, it seemed beneficial to my active learning and active listening skills. Tasks included general site maintenance and assisting the Electricians, Plasterers etc. I feel as if it also helped my organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
2011 - 2014: Football Referee
I completed a course and began refereeing football matches ranging from 6 year olds to 14 year olds. This helped me improve skills such as judgment and decision making as well as gaining skills such as social perceptiveness, time management and critical thinking.
2012 - 2013: Furniture Removal Assistant, A & O Services
This was my first job and the main thing I gained from this was the experience of working in a real job where people depended on me. My contribution consisted disassembling furniture, moving it into truck loads and reassembling at new location.
In the summer of 2017, I volunteered for LEO Africa at Marakele National Park in Limpopo Province, South Africa. I was accepted onto a project which involved the conservation and protection of the wildlife in this park. I was part of a team that partook in data collection for LEO, which involved gathering data on the whereabouts and details of the wildlife and providing reports back to the organisation based on my findings. Other work included assisting in conservation work such as alien plant removal, road maintenance, bush clearing as well as inserting data and photo processing to create ID kits of the key species.
This incredible experience broadened my mind significantly into other cultures and ways of life as well as helping me gain team working skills .I certainly believe that travelling half way around the world to work with a group of people who were completely unknown gave me more confidence and made me become a more independent person. I gained great confidence with regards problem solving and also working and communicating with others to reach a certain goal.

Hobbies and Interests
I have always enjoyed sports, performing as a key member of the Football team throughout my school years where we won the regional league on several occasions. I also played for my local Football Club, Ascot United where I won individual and team trophies. As well as this, I played Tennis for my local club and for the school. I was also a member of a golf club for six years and played in some weekend competitions. At Queen’s, I have continued my hobby of football and I help organise five-a-side football every week. I was a member of Queen’s Trading and Investment club in second year as I began to take an interest in stock trading.
