About Rico
I am a detail-oriented, results-driven data professional with an academic background in statistics and economics and extensive industry experience in data analysis and reporting.
During college, I served as a course assistant for the university's statistics department where I graded homework assignments for two undergraduate statistics courses.and I
After graduation, I have taken on various positions applying my knowledge of statistics to structure and execute ad hoc analyses for clients in government, public, and private sectors. My technical areas of expertise include being:
• Highly skilled at using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to create reports, presentations, and deliverables
• Well-versed in statistical programming languages for data management and statistical analyses, and
• Proficient in SQL for querying relational databases
Currently, I am applying these skills as a Data Annotation Specialist at Tesla, where I support Tesla's Autopilot team with preparing data used for training Autopilot's machine learning algorithms.

From the very start, I carefully identify the student's learning style and understand their goals and objectives. I utilize the student's hobbies and interests to create example problems so that they feel engaged and eager to learn the concepts. As someone who comes from the industry, I also provide an emphasis on the motivation for grasping each concept, as I am a strong believer that what you learn in school is useful to the real world in one way or the other. I am confident that this approach can benefit all students, whether it's the elementary or middle school student learning the fundamentals of each subject, or the high school student preparing for a standardized test or wanting to do well in their classes.
