About Óscar
I have been giving private classes for about 5 years, in addition to small (2 students) and medium groups (7-12 students). I have worked both on my own and in academies (Aulae, Barreiro).
In total I have taught classes to about 60 students between the ages of 10 and 65, achieving generally very satisfactory results.

The natural sciences, in particular biology, have a beauty that is usually masked by the format in which their study, memorization, is required. Of course, some degree of memorization, but only if it is included within a learning process. Otherwise, what is memorized is easily forgotten.
My recipe is to make the student appreciate the subject matter of study. As we all know, when we like something we come to enjoy learning. For this I use my own textbooks, resources taken from the Internet (photographs and videos) and my own knowledge and experience. In addition, I use examples and metaphors to bring the lessons closer to the reality and knowledge of the student. With all this, I get the subjects to become close and interesting.
My passion for science and the phenomenon of life led me to study Biology. And since I liked it so much, I continued with a master's degree and a doctorate. It was during this last stage when I discovered my other vocation: teaching.
The disciplines or subjects that I feel qualified to face are: Biology and Geology, Biology, Earth and Environmental Sciences or similar subjects and Coñecemento do Middle or similar subjects. I can also help students who take these subjects in English. Likewise, I am qualified to help with subjects in the field of biology to university degree students (Biology, Marine Sciences, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing, Psychology) and middle or higher training cycles in the biomedical field.
Available for face-to-face or online classes. In the case of face-to-face meetings, I would consider the formation of small groups (up to 3 people) if an appropriate place is available. Logically, in that case the price per person would be adjusted.
