About Diana
I have an PhD in philosophy from University College London. As a TA, I have led seminars on logic, philosophy of mind, epistemology, and philosophy of language - explaining the material, going over exercises, as well as providing feedback for formative and summative assessments. I am also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), meaning that I am qualified to teach at university level. Prior to this, most of my teaching experience comes from teaching both English and German at different levels, which allowed me to develop a concise way of delivering complex concepts. Building on that experience, I also ran a philosophy discussion club at a secondary school, where we discussed advanced philosophical topics in a welcoming environment.

Philosophy is, at least in part, the pursuit of clarity - yet the paths towards that clarity are anything but. So, depending on your needs, we will take different approaches to better understand the topic at hand. We may look at a text more in depth, or dissect different arguments for or against a position. We may even look at some of your written work and discuss ways to improve it. My approach is largely to discover the answers together; rather than telling you what a certain philosopher meant, I will ask the questions that will help you understand the ideas yourself. Of course, I will also explain some core concepts when the situation requires it - as Aristotle might put it, it's all about the mean. My strengths are the Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Language, Epistemology, and Logic.
NOTE:
When reaching out, please be as descriptive as possible: what area of philosophy do you need help with (logic, epistemology, etc.), what level (are you an undergrad, postgrad, not a student etc.), what kind of help do you need (writing an essay, preparing for an exam, gaining more understanding, or even non-academic purposes). This will help me better evaluate your request before Superprof charges you a monthly fee. I look forward to hearing from you!

Perfect! Great explanations, really nice attitude.
Perfect! Always extremely well prepared, thorough and attentive, and goes above and beyond to be as helpful as possible! 100% recommend :)
Perfect! Diana was a fantastic tutor, providing plenty of detail for the questions that I had prepared but then offered further theory from the literature that I hadn’t considered. She’s attentive to my pace of thought, very receptive to questions, and allowed discuss to flow where it wanted. Definitely recommended
Perfect! Great tutor who helped me with my elementary logic module. Very good at explaining and providing examples of very complex ideas in simple terms.

Diana is an outstanding tutor. Her student-focused approach ensures that guidance is always tailored to individual needs. Thanks to her support, my thesis became far more structured and coherent. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking rigorous and effective academic assistance.
Diana has my highest recommendation. She is very understanding, meticulous in her approach to assignments, and an absolute pleasure to work with.
Diana is incredibly prepared, she always has supporting materials (exercises, textbooks etc.) during the sessions that she shares with the student to facilitate their learning, if needed. She always tries to clarify any doubts while allowing the student to reach the answers on their own. Beyond her academic knoweldge, she is very udnerstanding and approrachable. I fully recommend her!
