About Yuwen
Hi, my name is Sophia, and I am currently studying Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. I previously completed a Bachelor of Life Sciences at McMaster University in Canada.
I have always enjoyed helping others learn and understand difficult concepts. Through my studies, I have developed a strong foundation in biology, anatomy, physiology, and health sciences. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching approach to each student's needs and learning style.
My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to build their confidence and understanding of the subject. I am patient, supportive, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

As a Doctor of Physiotherapy student at the University of Sydney and a Life Sciences graduate from McMaster University, I provide tutoring in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, and Health Sciences for high school and university students.
To make lessons as effective as possible, I prefer students to send me a list of topics, concepts, lecture slides, or practice questions before the lesson. This allows me to prepare personalized explanations and learning materials tailored to their needs. During lessons, I focus on helping students understand concepts rather than simply memorizing information.
After each session, I can provide class notes, summary notes, or my own study notes if needed. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their understanding, and develop effective study strategies for long-term success.
