I have worked with special needs students for many years, and have a passion for supporting young minds as they learn and grow. When I am not teaching I spend my time with my husband, my two children, and our two puppies. I like to read, watch movies, go thrifting, and try new hobbies.

Hello! I am a special education teacher who has worked with early childhood, preschool, and elementary-aged students throughout my 15-year career. I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialty in Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as a Master's in Literacy (K-12). My focus is on skill building through play and engagement, especially music and movement. I have worked with a wide variety of students, including those with vision impairment, physical disabilities, Down syndrome, and autism. I also work with typically developing students on school readiness skills and academics.
