About Martina
I am an experienced professional who has worked as an educational psychologyst and school tutoring with children from 5 year old to teenagers of 18 years old (over 10 years experience). I am from Argentina and I have advanced english.
I have got a degree in Educational Psychology and I am currently finishing my PhD specialized in peer tutoring and cognitive development in young children.
I hold a great knowledge about how to intervene in your child's learning process, helping them with concrete homework and also providing them with useful tools to improve their cognitive skills so that they can perform better in school tasks. I also have got experience in working with learning disabilities, such as Dyslexia, ADHD and Autism.

My teaching method is based in cognitive psychology and neurocognitive approachs. Each lesson adjusts to the particular needs of the student, but we mainly start working on the basis of the school contents. Following this guide and together with the student, we set up our goals for each session and start working. My particular methodology focuses on providing each student with the tools and scaffoldings that I consider are necessary in each particular case, so that in the future they can develop autonomously and effectively in academic tasks. We not only work on the particular contents of the subject but also stimulate other complementary cognitive abilities, necessary to perfectionate the learning process, addressing it with an integral perspective.
