About Palak
I have a degree in engineering and live in Delhi. I have always enjoyed teaching, be it playing professor to my friends in school & college during night long exam preparations or tutoring school kids professionally after completing my education. The experience has always been rewarding. I truly believe in the power of education and there is nothing more fulfilling than being instrumental in helping a child discover his/her potential. When not studying, teaching or reading, I enjoy tuning into my favorite music and hitting the road for a long drive. I am also a devoted yoga practitioner and a cycling enthusiast. I am currently training to run a half marathon and have completed two 10K runs.

Having come across ample number of students who loathe Math, I have observed the reason is an early fear of the subject stemming from lack of a strong foundation. When I start with a student, the primary aim is to gauge what topics are they comfortable with and where exactly the fear starts to creep in. By figuring out the pain points a student faces, it becomes relatively easier to address them and move forward.

Palak is a very methodical teacher and helped my son with his Xth class math syllabus by building a strong conceptual base first. Very professional and responsible.
A friend of mine introduced me to Palak as a potential teacher for my cousin, Ananya. Ananya had great potential but somehow didn’t do very well in exams. Being an introvert, she figured group tuitions were not for her. Thats when we started looking for a personal coach who could build the basics right. Then Palak came on and did something magical - Ananya was no more afraid of Math and loved how Palak didnt just make her do the syllabus but also tried to relate it to some applications in real life (also taught her that its not “Maths” and just “Math”!).
