As a student myself, I understand what a student struggles with and how to explain a problem in a simpler way. My method of teaching is to make sure the student understands the content and not just learn it. I encourage students to ask questions and I am more than happy to explain a topic repeatedly until he/she completely understands it. I like to teach in a simple way, rather than using complicated science-y words. The role of a tutor consisted of me teaching maths and science to multiple students. These sessions consisted of me identifying their strengths and weaknesses to plan material specific to each student in order to heighten their understanding of the subjects. Taking the initiative, I made sure to conduct research into topics before a session, to ensure that I would be able to provide my students with the knowledge they needed. Towards exam seasons, I would also prepare notes for them to aid their revision.
I am a motivated Engineering student who has a strong background in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. I enjoy critical thinking and like to solve conceptual problems. I have experience in tutoring before, whether it was in a professional job or just helping out my brother/sister. I usually taught multiple students together, 4 times a week giving them lessons on Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. My students always managed to achieve results they had set in their mind and I was very happy and proud to help them achieve that goal.
