About Jacob
I believe that if something is explained in just the right way anyone can eventually learn almost anything. If the way I am explaining something is not working, there are always other avenues to explore. You will have to put in the effort, but I will not give up finding which explanation works best for you. I am encouraging, enthusiastic and knowledgeable with regards to mathematics and science.

I am the person fellow students come to if they are confused after a lecture. During class, I may understand something completely but ask a question of the teacher that leads them to explain the topic in another way. I will often explore a topic or question from different angles to more adequately show why one way of doing something works, while another is incorrect. I will want to work with high school students through undergraduate, with a focus on mathematics.

I’ve known Jacob since we were kids, and we were the only two people from our grade in every math class together. We were 3 years ahead and always finished first on tests. I trust him as far as I can throw him, and with a weight of 65 kg and a breeze blowing due east at 2.3 knots, how far can I actually throw him from the top rope (1.83 m)? Ask Jacob, he’ll tell you.
