I believe that true understanding comes from active engagement with the material. My approach to teaching math is centered on empowering students to solve problems independently, encouraging them to think critically and ask as many questions as they need. I emphasize a deep understanding of the foundational concepts, guiding students through the roots of each topic so they know where ideas originate and how they connect. Rather than memorizing formulas or facts, I want my students to grasp the ‘why’ behind the concepts. We’ll focus on learning by doing—working through exercises and real-world problems to reinforce understanding, rather than simply reading about the subject. My goal is to cultivate independent, confident thinkers who can approach any math problem with clarity and insight.
