About Katia
I am a qualified English and Social Science at a local Cambridge school. I also have tutored students for the past four years varying from 5 years old up to the age of 15. I enjoy working closely with students to encouraging them to gain confidence in their academics and improve in areas of weakness.

My teaching method is to get students to engage with the content in a memorable way and dveelop their ability to not only answer basic recall questions but to also answer questions that require them to think critically. I have tutored students one and one as well as in group settings and believe that being a teacher assists in my ability to adapt the work accordingly. I like to use a variety of teaching methodologies when teaching concepts and believe that we need to find the right methodologies that work for the student.
