About Hamilton
I began tutoring during my time at Oxford, after noticing family members struggling with their English. Rather than let my skills go to waste, I developed a focused, outcomes-based approach to help them improve — and eventually, all of them achieved the results they needed, whether in apprenticeships, higher education, or the workforce. I believe every young student deserves support to gain the qualifications (and, of course, skills) that will positively impact their future. And the method couldn't be more simple.

I provide all my students with concise, outcome-focused notes (on structure and style) to cement their understanding of the most foundational concepts of English Language and Literature. We work through each resource collaboratively: I explain, demonstrate; I then get students to reinforce their learning and spot the concepts they've learnt. The resources provide structured methodologies students can apply to consistently improve their performance in whatever assessments they are undertaking. Typical lesson length 1hr 30min.
After failing his GCSE English re-sit twice, I sat down with my cousin, and after just 2 sessions, he achieved a grade 7! The lessons are designed to deliver instant results.
