I believe that tutoring sessions are the most constructive and helpful with a combination of conversation and practice. I find it is especially important to talk through set texts, books, language and concept rather than simply relying on written work and marking. I structure my sessions by starting with a conversation and then moving to written, practical exercises. These conversations are particularly helpful for university applicants.
