About Flo
My name is Flo, I am an English Language and Literature A-Level student (predicted A* and achieved a grade 9at GCSE). I also study Media and Sociology. Next year I will be going on to study English Literature and Creative Writing at university.
I also write and have had a number of creative writing pieces published in well-respected magazines and online publications.

I am an A-Level (year 13) English Literature and Language student, predicted A* (and I got grade 9 at GCSE). Available to tutor students GCSE age and below. I can help with essay writing, text analysis, creative writing, homework etc. I am very familiar with the AQA GCSE content (Macbeth, Jekyll and Hyde & An Inspector Calls) but I'm very happy to research and plan lessons on other texts too.
Lessons are typically discussion based and focus on brainstorming ideas, particularly when it comes to Literature and the themes of each text. However, we will also be able to closely analyse and pick apart the language and literary techniques used by writers and how these shape the meanings of each text.
Lessons can be anywhere between 30 mins / 1 hour / 2 hours and cost £15 per hour.
I teach online via Google Hangouts or Zoom. However, I am based in North London so can teach in-person, depending on location.
