About Amy
Hi! My name is Amy, I'm nineteen and I have a huge love for English Literature. I'm going to university to study English Literature with the intention of going into teaching after; I would love to share my love of reading with young people. I did my GCSEs and A Levels recently so I know what is currently expected of students, and can relate to students going through the stressful exam season. I currently work in the industry as a Library Assistant, so I am constantly surrounded by books at work, as well as at home!

My lessons are for GCSE students either struggling to reach the passing grade or those who want to expand on their knowledge and exam technique to access the higher grades. My lessons will last around one hour and I'll aim to cover all of the points on the GCSE mark schemes so students know exactly what they need to do to be successful answering questions in their exams. I used these mark schemes to aid my own study and revision, so they will be a part of my teaching. Anything the student is unsure of in terms of their knowledge I'll explain to them in an easy-to-understand manner.
