About Stef
I've been a passionate reader, writer, and critical thinker my whole life and would love to share that with you or your child. Throughout my early schooling I excelled at literary and cultural studies, and was rewarded with the college award for English as well as an ATAR score well above average. After college I began an undergraduate degree majoring in Literature at the ANU, where I also received positive feedback. Although my academic goals and interests have since shifted, I remain an avid reader and continue to engage critically with both fiction and creative non-fiction.
I also have over three years experience working with school-aged children, which has included facilitating creative workshops for kids aged 5-15. Although my formal work experience is skewed towards a younger set, I also have a keen eye for editing and workshopping undergraduate level writing.

I firmly believe that at the heart of reading and writing well is the ability to delight in interconnections both within and outside a text. Developing skills for critical analysis and clear expression is much easier when students are encouraged to cultivate this delight.
However, I also understand that for some students the goal is simply to pass a course or improve a grade average.
Whatever your literacy level and academic goals I can tailor my lesson plans to suit.
