About Charlene
I am an experienced teacher, who has provided lessons in a variety of subject areas. I have worked for twenty years and have tutored many students. I have been successful - one student received a scholarship from Dartmouth College, and another student is currently a sophomore at West Point. After I retired from the Somers Central School District, I was a learning specialist at Manhattanville College, Purchase, New York for six years. I tailor my strategies according to each student's needs. In addition, I have worked with students for the following tests: SATs, ACTs, PRAXIS and GREs. I use executive functioning skills when necessary. Currently, I belong to DKD, an international organization for teachers.

I am Charlene Pasquale, and I received my BA (cum laude) with an English major and a minor in education and a MA from Fairfield University. After I completed my MA, I took another sixty graduate credits. I use a variety of teaching methods that depend on a student's needs. I teach grammar skills so that students can become excellent writers. I have worked with many students, who have been successful.
